I made a forum yesterday to pitch art in exchange for dances. Originally, I priced it fairly high, which I adjusted earlier today, yet I'm still not sure if it's a reasonable exchange, or if it's still too high. So far, the only interest I've managed to generate is minimal, so I'm not sure if it's a matter of the dance per art cost is too high, or if it's a matter of poor advertising. Regardless, the main question is this: based on the following, are my rates okay, or should I cut them again?

For clarity, I'm currently charging fifty dances for a sketch, one hundred for the line work, and one fifty for flat color.

My gut reaction looking at this topic and your art is that it is really a low price. Then I went to your dancing topic to check it out and saw a wall of text that I didn't read. That may be the problem. Not sure, just my thoughts. You could try breaking it up a bit. Or hey, put some of the art right at the front door, so to speak. Let us see what we will be getting right away.

Also, you may or may not be aware that a lot of these kinds of deals have come along through the years and a lot of people have done the dancing, kissing, what have you, only to be burned in the end.

Thank you so much for the response. It's useful to know, and I'll likely rework the way I have my thread set up. I'm on mobile right now, so sorry this is such a crap response, but, really, thank you.

You're welcome. One other thought I had was that people might look at it and expect that they need to RP.
